SANT'ELENA

Made from vernaccia di San Gimignano grapes exclusively grown in the 3-hectare vineyard of Sant'Elena near the hamlet of Racciano, 350 meters asl, with deep, loose-textured, mostly clayey soils. This selection is released approximately two years after harvesting, after an extended period on fine lees.

MELOGRANI

This particular wine presents an intense ruby-red, limpid, star-bright color. Attractively intense, persistent nose revealing elegant red fruits.
Deliciously fresh, with well-poised, cushiony tannins and good length.

TERRE DI TUFI

Terre di Tufi is an elegant and fascinating wine that reflects Teruzzi’s dedication to viticulture and the winemaking. Known as “White Supertuscan” for its unique qualities, it is considered the white version of the famous and well-appreciated red Tuscan wines made from grapes that come from indigenous and international wine varieties.

“THE DISTRICT IS CALLED BENGODI, AND THERE THEY BIND THE VINES WITH SAUSAGES, AND A DENIER WILL BUY A GOOSE AND A GOSLING INTO THE BARGAIN…
AND HARD BY FLOWS A RIVULET OF VERNACCIA, THE BEST THAT EVER WAS DRUNK, AND NEVER A DROP OF WATER THEREIN.”

TERUZZI

The Teruzzi estate lies at the foot of the San Gimignano hill, closely intertwined with the history, culture and attractions of the area.

Part history, part legend, the foundation of San Gimignano is said to date back to the year 63 before Christ, when Mucius and Silvius, two young patrician brothers who had been accomplices of Catilina’s and had fled Rome, found refuge in the Valdelsa, where they built the castle of Mucchio and that of Silvia, the future San Gimignano.
