Sancerre Rosé
With its pale rose colour, this dry but very fruity wine will surprise you with its fineness and freshness. It shows aromas of white currant, apricot, and vine peach. On the palate the wine shows both the suppleness and refreshing acidity of the Pinot Noir.
Sancerre Blanc
Bright straw coloured wine with green glints. The clean, racy nose reveals hints of grapefruit, white flowers and flintiness. On the palate, the attack is full and silky, rich and plump with underlying freshness.
Sancerre Rouge
Brilliant red colour with garnet nuances, this red Sancerre has red berry aromas reminiscent of sweet and sour cherries. Light with soft tannins, the red fruit character is evident on the palate.
Clément and Florian Berthier combine traditional and modern-day practices to carry out the mission conferred upon them by their father: to preserve the family heritage with the same diligence.
The Vineyards
The vineyards stretch from one end of the Loire’s riverbanks to the other, from Sancerre to the Coteaux du Giennois.
Vignobles Berthier cultivate three grapes varieties: – Sauvignon Blanc for the whites – Pinot Noir & Gamay for the reds and rosés
