Sancerre Rouge

Brilliant red colour with garnet nuances, this red Sancerre has red berry aromas reminiscent of sweet and sour cherries. Light with soft tannins, the red fruit character is evident on the palate.

Sancerre Blanc

Bright straw coloured wine with green glints. The clean, racy nose reveals hints of grapefruit, white flowers and flintiness. On the palate, the attack is full and silky, rich and plump with underlying freshness.

Sancerre Rosé

With its pale rose colour, this dry but very fruity wine will surprise you with its fineness and freshness. It shows aromas of white currant, apricot, and vine peach. On the palate the wine shows both the suppleness and refreshing acidity of the Pinot Noir.

Clément and Florian Berthier combine traditional and modern-day practices to carry out the mission conferred upon them by their father: to preserve the family heritage with the same diligence.

Our red Giennois has a typical

nose with dark fruit and hints of

spice. The freshness on entry to

the palate is partnered by a

velvety texture.

Coteaux du Giennois Rosé

Our Giennois rosé shows

aromas of red fruits, fruit drop,

and some spicy notes. On the

palate the wine shows both the

suppleness and refreshing acidity

of the Pinot Noir.

us of the pleasantly acidic nature

Our Cuvée Terre de Caillotte

opens on a nose full of elegance

and refinement. In the mouth, the

wine is frank with a beautiful

volume.

Terre de Silex

Our Cuvée Terre de Silex

opens on a typical nose, mixing

the crunchy side of the sauvignon

with the gunstone. On the palate,

the attack is straight, presenting a

nice minerality.

Our Pouilly Fumé opens with a

great delicacy with a nice

notes of citrus and exotic fruits.

On the palate, the attack is ample

with a nice freshness on a very

The Vineyards

The vineyards stretch from one end of the Loire’s riverbanks to the other, from Sancerre to the Coteaux du Giennois.

Vignobles Berthier cultivate three grapes varieties: – Sauvignon Blanc for the whites – Pinot Noir & Gamay for the reds and rosés
